orange sycamores and teeny chickadees

I went on my woodland walk and it was intensely refreshing.








A Carolina Wren parked itself about 4 feet from where I was standing and started calling loudly. I love these little birds!




I found this cool rock with lots of big, reflective chunks of muscovite.


Squirrels....




I found a patch of wild ginger! I grabbed a few roots to suck on while walking. They were really tasty.
