little-parrot-gourd-sorrel

Holy crap, this semester has been absolutely insane. I'm (NOTE: THE UPS GUY JUST DELIVERED MY FALLOUT GAME) graduating in December and I have been scrambling to balance vet school applications, salamander collection/research, and a ridiculous course load; as a result, art has only occurred while I've been doing other things. I'll put up some stuff in chronological order along with what I was doing...because that seems fun enough.

Countour sketches done during my GRE prep course. Two on the right are blind (water bottle and chair, I think) and the two on the left are [obviously] from my head.

Done during a group therapy session during which I was about to fall asleep in a very serious way. This was my attempt to remain conscious and somewhat attentive.

Goddamn, I loved this until I mysteriously bled on it's back at some point! I did this over the course of several vet school application breaks.

Little fern-owl was done while timing Chris' laps in preparation for the police force's physical exam.

Doodlepage contents: one Urspelerpes, two parrots, one vulture-me. The sally was done while driving in NC surveying leaf litter traps for, of course, Urspelerpes 'manders.

At this point, I acquired free time again! Avocados and mutant tadpoles it is, then!

Idea for carving a gourd...done while slipping jasmine tea in the absolutely delightful autumn weather. This was one little doodle on a larger doodlepage Chris and I were doing.

Needless to say, I'm going to go play me some New Vegas....in a serious serious way.

Nice blog! I like your photos. I'm doing practice GRE here: masteryourgre.com . I hope it's useful for GRE test takers.
