caudatan friends

My life blog turned animal-adventures blog turned back to life blog is going to get another animal-adventure update soon! My life has taken a turn for the less-interesting these last couple months; I'm winding down on my undergraduate career, I've filled out my vet school applications, I've scrambled to take all the GRE's I need, and I think I finally have some time to steal away again...this time to work on my senior thesis in the mountains of North Carolina; I leave in 2.5 hours with the Maerz Herpetology Lab here at UGA! I'm so pumped! I will, no doubt, come home with many photos of wonderful Caudatan friends and probably a bunch of ectoparasites and poison ivy...I seem to have an affinity for them these days. This place (Coweeta Hydrologic Laboratory) is gorgeous; I've seen pictures! You can only go with a research permit, as well, so this is a rare opportunity! The herpetofauna diversity at Coweeta is incredibly rich...I can't wait!
